About Homeplus NI Limited. Homeplus is a registered charity working to meet the immediate needs of vulnerable homeless people sleeping rough. We seek to identify their changing needs and take direct action accordingly. We believe that no one should have to sleep rough because of a lack of appropriate accommodation and/or support. Charity No. XR 40435. Homeplus are grateful to those individuals and organisations who have chosen to support our work, in particular the Office of the First and Deputy First Minister, as we rely on their generosity.
Homeplus NI Limited was established as a registered charity in September 2000, by
a group of concerned individuals who had extensive experience and practical knowledge
of the problems associated with homelessness.
Our aim was to deliver services that would meet the immediate accommodation and support
needs of vulnerable homeless people who were sleeping rough, particularly those in
the Belfast and Greater Belfast areas.
We believe that no one should have to sleep rough, and that people who are ‘roofless’
should have 24-hour, practical support. We work with the most vulnerable in our society
who have become homeless and those who are sleeping rough, including foreign nationals,
refugees, asylum seekers, and those without recourse to public funds.
